The day after....

Yesterday, had to the most painful day of this year for mE!
I visited the dentist twice! Once in the morning and then later in the day...
The infection in my gums had become quite big, I was unable to open my mouth even to drink water.
Speaking was a nightmare. Calling up the office folks to tell about my condition too was impossible.
Anyways, in the morning visit to the dentist, he just administered some anti-inflammatory medicines and then told me to report back to him in the Evening!

Went back at 7:30 in the evening.
He then proceeded to "break" the inflamed part.....without administering any anaesthetic!
He used his dangerous looking instruments to break open the "boil" and what followed was something you see in hollywood horror movies...
Blood oozed out for minutes...
The pain was unbearable.
But at hat moment, i was feeling victorious having conquered the irritating infection.
I hope this doesn't recur now.
me now leavin for job.
Will post later tonite!

Toothache!

Please brush your teeth...and do that proeprly each day! I am right now suffering the consequences of ignoring oral hygiene .
I had a root canal job done three years ago and the cap has come of now. The worst part is the infection. My gums are swollen and i can't even speak legibly right now.
The pain is unbearable.
I will not be able to go to office today due to this, which means a deduction of 1000 bucks from my performance incentives!
But this is like one of those times when you don't really care about such things.
It is 5:55 a.m right now and I am longing to visit the dentist by 10 a.m.
I will be keeping you folks posted about further developments.

Ok..here we go!

Finally gettin some time to post stuff here.. The pic you see above is of my workplace..

Working for MS does have some advantages....
We have two lcd monitors (with 2 fully loaded cpu's to boot) at workplace..
My workstation is a Dell machine with 512 mb ram and an Nvidia gpu (i forgot the model)
The other machine is a gaming rig.. 1 gig of ram.., Nvidia Geforce MX -4000 (i think..).
Good enough tp play halo, and nfsmw at decent resolutions.. I would love to see this beast with an ATi X1800 XT!!

And did you folks notice the keyboard with finger-print based login?
Cool I should say!

I being in the Windows Update department, however seldom get enough time to really squeeze that max outta these beauties.
The Gaming folks who occupy the desks just beside us are the luckiest of the lot! Imagine getting paid for playing all your favy games...

Water Under The Bridge...

Yeah.Wierd title.
Thats all that came to my mind when i see myself now...
The last time I posted something here, yours truly was a jobless, unemployed (by sheer will and determination) guy addicted to a vibrant web forum...

Much water has flown under the bridge since then.
The same guy got a job with a certain Mr.William Gates' company.

The last few months have been a really turbulent period of my life!
From a hopeless, unemployed, lazy guy to an Employed, agile and outgoing (in this case outgoing stands for going out of the house, since earlier I seldom used to get out of my 20*20 room)
guy.

Am happy.
Things have changed a lot in a mere two months!
Look forward to posting here more often now.
Will be getting a new phone next month (Most Probably a smartphone or a Walkman series from SE)

For the time being,
Chow!!!
